University of South Carolina Students Assist with Connected Community Engagement Program Assessments

The University of South Carolina ITEC 545 Telecommunications class is taking on assisting Richland & Lexington counties with gathering information for their Connected assessments. As a class project, five 3-person teams of students will work with Community Champions Janet Claggett of Richland County and Stephany Snowden of Lexington County to assist in gathering information on broadband adoption and use for their assessments. Abbeville Community Kickoff Meeting for the Connected Community Engagement Program

On June 19, officials and community leaders of Abbeville County and surrounding areas gathered at the Abbeville Community Kickoff Meeting for the Connected Community Engagement Program. Attendees included representatives from the City of Abbeville and the Town of Calhoun Falls.
